MILK FROG UNIVERSITY / OUR SCHOOLS
Psychology & Wellbeing
Care about growth, and about the person growing. A pause, a listening moment and a small everyday choice can all make room for what we feel.

01 / OUR SCHOOL
Learning starts with curiosity.
We collect the easily overlooked moments of Milk Frog life: relief at receiving a reply, hesitation before trying something new, or the ease of sitting beside the pond. We practise describing feelings without rushing to label ourselves or anyone else.
Our creative exercises centre on everyday observation, emotional expression and considerate relationships. Fictional situations, personal notes and character dialogue help us compare needs, make requests and respect boundaries, recognising that joy can take many forms.
Not every moment has to be happy. Finding words for a feeling is also a way of caring for everyday life.
02 / LEARNING PATH
From a small question to a finished project.
Observe · Practise · Create together
-
BEGIN / NOTICE
Find words for a moment
Start with a fictional situation or a moment you choose to record. Describe what happened and how it felt, separating observations from assumptions.
-
EXPLORE / LISTEN
Leave space in a conversation
Use character dialogue to practise clear requests and patient replies. Respect different paces, including the choice to say “I would rather talk later”.
-
CREATE / CARE
Make room for different needs
Turn observations into a campus life proposal. Consider lively and quiet spaces, company and solitude, and keep the design open to adjustment.
03 / COURSE CATALOGUE

Psychology: Noticing Everyday Experience
Follow a fictional Milk Frog’s day to record situations, thoughts, feelings and actions. Compare “What I saw” with “What I imagine they thought”, keeping more than one explanation open.
Your projectFour everyday observation cards and a comparison of interpretations.
Emotion & Communication: Finding the Words
Use campus situations involving borrowed books, shared posters and missed plans to describe events, express feelings and make requests. Write a listener’s response while leaving room for someone who is not ready to talk.
Your projectThree character dialogues and a listening prompt card.
Positive Psychology: Everyday Sources of Support
Map supportive people, habits and spaces in fictional campus stories. Consider when each might help, replacing a general expectation to be happy with specific activities a character can choose or decline.
Your projectAn everyday support map and three small activity proposals.
The Study of Joy: Different Frogs, Different Breaks
Compare three Milk Frogs’ ideal breaks: talking, walking or spending time alone. Design a campus rest corner with several options, explaining who might enjoy it and who might need something different.
Your projectThree character needs cards, a rest-corner sketch and design notes.

Quiet Routes & Rest Stops
Work with Computing & Future Studies on scenarios for Milk Frogs who want to walk, pause or read quietly. Turn those needs into useful route information while acknowledging that the same place can feel different to different people.
Suggested outputThree needs scenarios, rest-stop descriptions and route comparison feedback.
Read the project dossierTen Minutes Between Classes
Imagine three Milk Frogs spending the same short break differently. Write an invitation each would welcome and a thoughtful response, considering how to respect company, solitude and a last-minute change of plan.
Suggested outputThree break-time stories, six dialogue cards and shared-space suggestions.
